Move your Wahoo history into TrainRec
The Wahoo app doesn't share with Apple Health. Share your rides to an app that does, like Strava. They then show up in TrainRec on their own.
How it gets in
Best results: your assistant. A connected assistant reads any export whole, fixes dates and units as it goes, and can bring in food and measurements, not just workouts. Coach, the chat built into TrainRec, is best for telling it what you did and for small pasted pieces. The other routes are there when you'd rather not involve either.
On its own, through Apple HealthEvery plan, on iPhone
Turn on Apple Health sync in TrainRec (Profile, then Sync with Apple Health) and allow the kinds of data you want. Anything Wahoo has written to Apple Health shows up in TrainRec by itself: workouts as sessions with time, distance, calories and heart rate, plus weigh-ins, body fat, blood pressure, resting heart rate, HRV and sleep. Set-by-set lifting detail and food don't travel through Health, so use your assistant for those.
Export from Wahoo
- Link a partner app. In the Wahoo app, open Settings, then Authorized apps, and turn on the app you use.
- Turn on its Apple Health sharing. In that app, allow it to write workouts to Apple Health. For Strava, see the Strava guide.
- Turn on Health sync in TrainRec. In TrainRec, open Profile, then Sync with Apple Health, and allow workouts.
- Check it in TrainRec. Your history shows up on the calendar and in your records. Something look off? Ask your assistant to fix it. You can also undo the whole batch from Changes.
Good to know
- Rides come in as sessions with time, distance and calories.

App names belong to their owners. TrainRec isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them, and these steps describe their apps as of the date shown. If a menu has moved, their help pages have the current path.
