About

TrainRec in plain facts

What is TrainRec?
TrainRec is a workout app for iPhone and Android that runs the plans you make with your own AI assistant. TrainRec walks you through each workout and keeps what you actually did; afterward, your assistant reviews it and adjusts what comes next. Food is logged by telling your assistant what you ate.
Who makes TrainRec?
Manifest Post, Inc., a software company in California that also makes Baton and B/side.
Is TrainRec available yet?
Not yet. It is coming soon to iphone and android.
Which AI assistants does it work with?
Works with Claude today, with more assistants coming. Each assistant is named here once it is confirmed working.
What can you log?
Strength training set by set, plus running, walking, cycling, swimming, rowing, classes and other sports by time and distance. Food by meal, with calories, protein, carbs and fat against your daily targets.
What's new in the beta?
Personal records are celebrated the moment you set them and kept in a trophy case, and your assistant can move your history in from another app. Finished workouts save to Apple Health. TrainRec is in a private beta.
How much does it cost?
The whole tracker is free, with no limits. Paid plans are for your assistant. Prices will be announced at launch.
Does TrainRec have ads or sell data?
No. There are never ads in TrainRec, and data is never sold. There are no marketing notifications either.
Is TrainRec medical advice?
No. It keeps a record and shows the plan you and your assistant make. Talk to your doctor before starting a new program or diet.
