Move your Nike Run Club history into TrainRec

Allow Nike Run Club to share with Apple Health and your runs show up in TrainRec on their own, with distance, time, calories and heart rate.

How it gets in

Best results: your assistant. A connected assistant reads any export whole, fixes dates and units as it goes, and can bring in food and measurements, not just workouts. Coach, the chat built into TrainRec, is best for telling it what you did and for small pasted pieces. The other routes are there when you'd rather not involve either.

  • No export? Use screenshotsConnect planBest results

Take screenshots of your last few weeks of activities in Nike Run Club, attach them in your connected assistant's chat and say "Set up my usual week in TrainRec from these." It doesn't need every run or ride, just enough to see how often and how far you usually go.

Each entry your assistant adds is marked with its name in Changes, so you can check what came in and undo anything that's wrong. Screenshots work with a connected assistant. Coach takes typed messages only, so tell Coach your routine or usual meals in words instead.

  • On its own, through Apple HealthEvery plan, on iPhone

Nike Run Club writes your runs as workouts to Apple Health, with distance, calories and heart rate. On your iPhone, open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Health, then Nike Run Club, and choose what to share. Turn on Apple Health sync in TrainRec (Profile, then Sync with Apple Health) and allow the kinds of data you want. Anything Nike Run Club has written to Apple Health shows up in TrainRec by itself: workouts as sessions with time, distance, calories and heart rate, plus weigh-ins, body fat, blood pressure, resting heart rate, HRV and sleep. Set-by-set lifting detail and food don't travel through Health, so use your assistant for those.
